Marc Duhaime, DO, FACOG
Dr. Duhaime was born at Elliot Hospital and grew up on the west side of Manchester, NH. Following his graduation from West High School, he received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Microbiology from The University of New Hampshire (Durham, NH). After years of diverse hands-on experiences within the healthcare field, he earned his Medical Degree at The University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine (Biddeford, ME).
Through this education and training, he developed his holistic approach to patient care and learned to incorporate Osteopathic Manipulation and Treatment (OMT), which has allowed him to provide more comprehensive care to his patients. Dr. Duhaime embraces the concept of shared decision making, where he forms a partnership with his patients to provide more individualized care. He encourages his patients to consider all treatment options (conservative, alternative, medical, minimally-invasive, and definitive/surgical) and strongly believes the best course of treatment will always be identified when you combine evidence-based medicine with the patient’s own values.
Dr. Duhaime completed his residency training at SUNY Upstate Medical University (Syracuse, NY). Through this regional referral center for over twenty surrounding counties, he gained extensive subspecialty experience in high risk obstetrics, pelvic medicine (incontinence, prolapse), gynecologic oncology, and reproductive endocrinology (infertility, menopause).
Dr. Duhaime is a member of The American Society of Reproductive Medicine (ASRM) who provides infertility testing and treatment within his office, helping many couples build their families. He strives to keep his cesarean rates as low as possible. Dr. Duhaime strongly supports vaginal birth after cesarean deliveries (VBAC) and pioneered the support for vaginal delivery after two cesareans (VBAC2). Dr. Duhaime is also a skilled laparoscopic surgeon and member of The Society of Laparoscopic Surgeons (SLS). He has achieved masters level training in surgical robotics (DaVinci) and was the first to successfully complete a robotic assisted single-site surgery at Concord Hospital. Dr. Duhaime is board certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology and a Fellow in The American College of Obstetricians & Gynecologists.
